We had such a fun time on our trip to Bismarck! The kids represented our school well and learned so much. We were able to see how North Dakota has transformed from being underwater to the state we live in today. We learned about the dinosaurs who used to be here, Native American culture, important pioneers/settlers, agriculture, energy, and many many more things. We stopped in Jamestown and learned a bit about bison too! What a great end to a wonderful year!

We were so excited to share our poems with all of our parents and family tonight! The 4th graders have been busy this last month writing over 30 of their own original poems. Tonight we shared a rhyme pattern poem and a partner poem at our cafe. We hope you enjoyed our hard work!
We hope you enjoyed the concert! Thanks for Mrs. V for another awesome show! Here's a look at our trip this morning. We were excited to learn new things about what water can do and also pretty proud that we already knew some things about the water cycle and water conservation. The rain couldn't stop our learning! We are so proud of all the hard work our team put in for this year's Math Olympics. They had a lot of fun participating! In April we ventured into the world of poetry. We practiced reading poems, learned about figurative language, and wrote over 30 poems of our own. A few of our poems we turned into fun projects to be displayed at our Poetry Cafe. Here's a sneak peek...
